Nabu

Your words are yours

Privacy

We never train on your screenplay. Not the scenes, not the treatment, not your synopses or notes, not your conversations — and not drafted text once it’s part of your script. Not verbatim, not “anonymized,” not in aggregate. We also never feed your text into outside training pipelines: our model providers are contractually barred from training on your content.

What we collect

Your account basics: an email address, a name if you give one, and what’s needed to keep you signed in.

The shape of your work and your choices, if you leave signals on: counts, ratios, and positions — scene lengths, dialogue/action balance, pacing rhythm, structure — and which suggestions you accept, reject, rework, or export. Numbers and decisions, never prose. This is how Nabu’s suggestions get better for everyone without anyone’s words leaving their project.

You can turn signals off in Settings with one click. Nothing about your access changes if you do.

What we never collect into any learning system

Your screenplay, treatment, synopses, notes, or conversations — in any form, including embeddings or other derivatives that could be turned back into text. The line is mechanical, not editorial: counts, ratios, positions, choices — nothing that can be inverted to prose.

Our model providers

Nabu uses third-party models to read and respond to your work while you write. Our agreements with those providers contractually bar them from training on your content, and we send them only what’s needed to serve you in the moment.

Your files

Your script is yours — every word, every draft. Export to FDX, Fountain, or PDF at any time, no fee, no waiting period. Deleting your account deletes your projects and the signals derived from them.

Changes to this policy

If we ever want to collect more than this page describes, we will ask you first, plainly, and collect nothing new until you say yes. No quiet updates.
